Usc Files Suit Against Agent

A temporary restraining order was issued against sports agent Robert Caron in Los Angeles Superior Court, shortly after the University of Southern California filed a lawsuit against him.

The university charges that Caron, who operated as the Pro Manage Sports Agency of Oxnard, Calif., induced student-athletes to violate NCAA regulations.

Caron, 37, is charged with giving airline tickets, rent, phone cards and other payments in efforts to gain future representation for running back Shawn Walters, defensive lineman Israel Ifeanyi and linebacker Errick Herrin.
