2 Accused Of Filming Students In Shower

Compiled From Wire Services

A City Council member and his wife, who have been hosts for foreign high school and college students for about eight years, are accused of secretly videotaping the visitors in the shower.

Don G. Fuller, 42, and his wife, Antoinette Fuller, 40, were taken into custody Saturday on suspicion of sexual exploitation of children.

They were released Monday on $5,000 bond each. District Attorney Eric G. Johnson said Tuesday the Fullers taped at least eight to 10 students in their home.

The Fullers are associated with the International Host Family program of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram reported that Fullers’ 12-year-old son told their latest visitor about the tapings. The 24-year-old woman from Kenya notified university officials and they notified police.

A video camera and six tapes were confiscated Saturday at the Fullers’ home, police said.

The camera was in the couple’s bedroom closet and aimed through a vent in the bathroom, Johnson said.
