Blm Wants Help In Planting Project
The Bureau of Land Management is seeking volunteers on Saturday to help beautify Blackwell Island.
BLM staffers will have nearly 800 shrubs to be planted on portions of Blackwell Island along the Spokane River beginning at 9 a.m.
The purpose of the project is to improve wildlife habitat by providing more food and shelter.
