You Can Tune In Nick At Nite On America Online

Newsday

Many cable services have jumped into cyberspace, either on the World Wide Web or through an online service. One of the newest also is one of the coolest: Nick at Nite Online, (America Online; keyword: Nick at Nite or NAN).

The opening screen looks like a vintage TV set and its ambience is homey and cheerful, much like the channel itself. The site, which launched last month (Nickelodeon Online goes up later this month), contains a plethora of information about the “classic TV” shows airing on Nick at Nite.

The site is divided into five areas, based on the metaphor of the suburban home.

The TV Room, for instance, allows you to get the night’s programming schedule as well as more detailed descriptions of 13 shows that air or have aired on the channel from “Bewitched” to “The White Shadow.”
