Authorities Investigate Morrison

Delaware County authorities are looking into allegations that heavyweight Tommy Morrison struck the mother of his 5-year-old son.

The incident allegedly occurred late Saturday night at a party in Jay, Okla., where Morrison grew up and is building a ranch.

Morrison’s attorney denies the allegation; his promoter calls it “total garbage.”

Assistant district attorney Jennifer Earls said investigators were interviewing witnesses, and she would not know until next week whether any charges would be filed.
