During shooting of the film “Bram Stoker’s Dracula,” a kissing scene between Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder took 25 takes.

Ryder “reportedly left the set in tears,” alleges YM magazine. Sniffing a story, the teen zine tracked down the tale of Keanu the kisser.

The word from Reeves’ “Speed” co-star, Sandra Bullock: “Keanu’s so sure of himself, but I was back there spraying Binaca and hoping that I wouldn’t offend him.”

“He was pretty scruffy,” said Reeves’ “River’s Edge” co-star Ione Skye, “but he had a sexy smell.” “Kissing scenes are pretty complicated,” said Aitana Sanchez-Gijon (“A Walk in the Clouds”), “but we tried to enjoy them.”

Lori Petty, who starred with Reeves in “Point Break,” was adamant/ “He’s a very good kisser,” she said. “He’s definitely blessed.”

Loose talk

Charitable ex-First Lady Barbara Bush on whether she misses the White House (as reported by the Associated Press): “I always thought people who missed things were either stupid or dumb. If you don’t like what you’re doing, change it.”

And we wish a happy B-day to little Davey Cornwell

He’s repent with every breath that he takes

Sting, the rock star, was bilked out of $9.4 million by his accountant. The funny thing was that he never actually missed it. The ex-lead singer for the Police learned about the incident through an anonymous letter. On Tuesday, 51-year-old Keith Moore was sentenced in London to six years in prison.

It depends, of course, on what happens in the next election

When asked about living in Los Angeles, First Brother Roger Clinton recognizes that it isn’t the best thing for him, wife Molly and 17-month-old son Tyler. “It costs a heck of a lot more to live out there,” he said. “I just miss home. I think in the next two or three years, I will be home.”

Good thing they didn’t have to go into sudden death

The duel was between two men, one an ex-professional athlete, the other an ex-soldier. And the old soldier won. In a New York bookstore on Monday, retired Gen. Colin Powell attracted some 1,500 fans to his book-signing, while across Fifth Avenue former NFL quarterback Joe Montana attracted just 500.

Now they don’t have enough to field a football team

Latest word from the crowded Farrow Household: Two of Mia Farrow’s 11-odd children, 22-year-old Daisy and 20-year-old Lark, reportedly have left home after arguing with their mom. They’re said to be working at minimum-wage jobs.

One question: Did he happen to wear gloves?

O.J. Simpson, stepping back into public view slowly but surely, played a round of gold in Panama City Beach, Fla., on Tuesday. Girlfriend Paula Barbieri watched. Broadcaster David Deliman reported, “He was a little shaky on the first half and then improved on the back nine.”
