Mr. And Mrs. Burkhart Mcminnville, Ore.

Vernon and Helen (Schafer) Burkhart, McMinnville, formerly of Spokane, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family outing at Woodland Park, followed by a dinner party at the Seattle home of their daughter, Joanne.

Hosts for the events were their daughters and spouses: Marilyn and Duane Van Der Werff, Oak Harbor, Wash.; Janette Mills, Chandler, Ariz.; and Joanne and Bill Cole, Seattle.

Married Sept. 24, 1935, in Reardan, Wash., the Burkharts have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
