Police Seek Man In Robbery Attempt

Shoshone County authorities are looking for a man who tried to rob a Pinehurst, Idaho, store Sunday night.

The man apparently had hidden in Barney’s Sooper Market on Sunday evening, according to a report from the Pinehurst Police Department.

After the night manager closed the store, the suspect confronted the manager with a handgun and demanded money, according to the report.

The suspect left without any money.

He was described as a slender white male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing tan pants and a khaki jacket.

Police ask anyone with information to call the Pinehurst Police Department at 208-682-3662.
