Suspect Faces More Molestation Charges

From Staff And Wire Reports

Seven child-rape charges and an additional first-degree child molestation charge, involving three new victims, have been filed against Michael D. Taylor of Ephrata, Wash.

Taylor, 52, already faced six counts of first-degree child molestation involving two boys - now 8 and 11 years old - at Twin Lakes on the Colville Indian Reservation, where he regularly spent his summers at a family cabin. Taylor, who is not Indian, is a longtime employee of the Grant County Public Utility District.

He has pleaded innocent to all the charges, and is scheduled for trial on Jan. 3 in Ferry County Superior Court.

The new charges involve boys who are 9, 11 and 12 years old. Taylor is accused of performing oral sex on them over the past several years. , DataTimes
