Bruins Ink Neely

Compiled From Wire Services

Cam Neely signed a two-year contract with the Boston Bruins that provides an automatic extension for a third year if his oft-injured knee holds up.

Neely, 30, has spent 10 of his 13 NHL seasons in Boston. The star right winger said he hopes to stay with the Bruins for the rest of his career, which was nearly cut short by a series of leg injuries in the last few seasons.

Neely scored 27 goals and had 14 assists in 42 games last season while leading the NHL with 16 power-play goals.

Goalie Guy Hebert agreed with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on a multiyear contract. No financial terms were disclosed. Hebert, 28, had a 12-20-4 record and a 3.07 goals-against average in 39 games with the Mighty Ducks last season.
