Club champions were determined last week for both Liberty Lake and Hangman Valley Ladies 18-Hole Golf Clubs.
Diane Hicks defeated Jean Hatcher at Liberty Lake and Billie Etter beat Janet Lang at Hangman Valley during 36 hole playoffs.
At Liberty Lake:
Winner of first flight was Patsy Lynn over Gloria Cash. Second flight went to Nancy Montieth over Jean Fulks.
Third flight winner was Coleen Wisenor over Jody Cantrell, fourth flight went to Bette Harmon over Myrna Neubauer and fifth flight was Eleanor Seefried over Barbara Buteux.
Consolation winners were Etter in first division, Donna Ogilvie in second division, Lily Shiosaki in third division and Barb Midkiff in fourth division.
Additionally, Vivienne Symbol won the final leg of the Liberty Cup with a net 72 and will join the end-of-season playoff.
At the same time Carol Alboucq with 28 in A flight, Symbol with 27 in B flight, Cec Schucker with 33 in C flight and Shirley Hook with 35 in D flight won putting competition.
At Hangman Valley:
Ogilvie won first flight over Carol Wieber, Marie Nelson won second flight over Carol Wagner and Barb Hafner beat Betty Dalzell in third flight.
Consolation winners were Alice Shattuck with net 75, Alice Hamilton with 73, Margaret Brashears with 81 and Delores Bridwell with 80.
Medal play at Valley View
During last week’s medal play, Anne Meyers was again the winner with a low gross 43.
Net winners were Lorraine Martin with 29 in A flight, Irene Spidle with 31 in B flight and Joan Moore with 29 in C flight.
Teams share Yellow Ball event
Two four-player teams tied last week in the Liberty Lake 9-Hole Ladies Club Yellow Ball tournament.
One winning team with a score of 60 included Kitty Duval, Sadie Rueckert, Thelda Moen and Sybil Sturgill.
The other included Adrienne Shoemaker, Lorraine Martin, Pat Thompson and Norma Holdass.
During medal play, Shoemaker led A flight with low gross 54 and Duval had a net 38. Martin won B flight at 56 and shared net lead at 36.
In C flight, Thompson shot 62 andElberta Walker netted 41. And in D flight Jan Bernhart shot 67 and Betty Trembly netted 39.
Medal play at Painted Hills
Last week was medal play for Painted Hills Ladies Club golfers.
Low gross leaders were Danice Deckard with 47 in A flight, Carol McLean with 56 in B flight, Leslie Zilka with 58 in C flight and Irene Strong with 69 in D flight.
Net winners were Ruth Mathis with 36 in A, Arleen Espe and Christy Cossette with 38 in B, Pat Reiter with 37 in C and Cathy Diehl with 41 in D.
Tanna Wilson had a birdie on the 11th hole.
