Mr. And Mrs. Mackin Sitka, Alaska

Francis J. and Vivian Mackin, Sitka, formerly of Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a reception at 7:30 p.m. in the Montana Room of Gonzaga University’s student union building.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Joe and Bonnie Mackin, Pearlan, Texas; Ray and Marisa Mackin, Mark and Patti Mackin, and Shawn and Esmeralda Mackin, all of Spokane; Stan Mackin, Auburn, Wash., Patricia Mackin, Los Angeles; Debra and Mac McCall, San Antonio, Texas; and Jan and Mark Charlton, Sitka.

Married Sept. 10, 1945, in Portsmouth, N.H., the Mackins have 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.<
