Man Sought After Woman Shot

From Staff And Wire Reports

A man fired six shots about 4:30 p.m. Monday at a home at 636 S. Regal, where his girlfriend was hiding in a bedroom closet, police said.

The couple had been fighting outside the house, when the woman ran inside. Neither lives there.

The girlfriend was unharmed, but another woman in the home was shot in the leg. The woman was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center, but the injury wasn’t serious, said police, who wouldn’t release the name of either woman.

Police said they were searching for Trini L. Crawford, 27, who moved to Spokane from Long Beach, Calif., about a month ago. Crawford stands about 5-foot-10 and weighs 170 pounds. He’s black, with a shaved head.

He fled the scene with a couple of other people in a light blue pickup with an aluminum canopy, police said. Crawford was wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweatpants. , DataTimes
