Kodak Shakes Up Top Management

Compiled From Wire Services

With the retirement of one of its top executives, Eastman Kodak Co. announced a restructuring Tuesday at the top of its corporate pyramid.

George M.C. Fisher, already Kodak’s chairman, president, and chief executive officer, will take on a new role as head of a three-man operation, called the chief operating office. The office will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Kodak’s global business, Fisher said.

Fisher will be assisted by Daniel Carp, currently vice president and general manager of Kodak’s European, African and Middle Eastern region, and Carl Kohrt, currently vice president and general manager of health sciences.

Both Carp and Kohrt will carry the titles of executive vice president and assistant chief operating officer. The changes will become effective Nov. 1.
