Spokane Agents Honored For Excellence In Sales

Six Spokane agents with James D. Shanley’s Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. were recognized for sales excellence during the annual meeting of agents in Milwaukee.

Robert Bishopp and Kent Lupton were in the company’s Top 100 best-sales performers.

Peter Elliot placed in the Diamond Class for sales in excess of $10 million; James Bockemuehl, Edward Van Vliet and Bret Wheeler placed in the Emerald Class for sales over $7 million.

Harold Coffin was honored for more than 60 years of professional and community service at Paine, Hamblen, Coffin, Brooke & Miller law offices.

Coffin has served on the boards of the Comstock Foundation, Eastern Washington Historical Society and the Cheney Cowles Museum.

H.D. “Butch” Collins was named New Car Salesperson of the Month, and Steve Frey was named Used Car Salesperson of the Month, at Dishman Dodge for the month of June.

Bill Noble, of Appleway Chevrolet, was recognized as the No. 1 car salesperson in the five states of the Chevrolet Salt Lake Zone for the 1994 model year. He was also inducted into the Chevrolet Truck Honor Club Hall of Fame and Legion of Leaders Hall of Honors.

Crowley Realty Better Homes and Gardens recently had four agents receive top awards:

Debbie Lunzer was nationally honored as Rookie of the Year for 1994 and awarded Division V’s third-place for number of rookie units, and first place for rookie volume.

Steve Flinn attended the Medallion Club Summit at the national convention in Orlando, Fla. The Medallion Club is for agents who top producers of $1 million or more.

Wendy Hughes received the local company’s Best Customer Service Award, and Catherine Grainger the Top Sales Agent for 1994.

Melode Hall attended the Creative Memories’ annual convention in St. Cloud, Minn. The company teaches organization and preservation of family photos. She was one of 19 honored with the company’s award for sales and recruiting.

Dixie Randock, broker/owner of Century 21 Randock in Spokane, graduated from the Century 21 International Management Academy.

Harold Gilkey, chairman and chief executive officer of Sterling Financial Corp., received the prestigious Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership Award.
