Wanted Man Turns Himself In

A man wanted in a shooting that injured a woman Monday surrendered to Spokane police.

Trini L. Crawford, 27, who gave his address as 2304 W. Second, turned himself in to Spokane police in the parking lot of the Spokane County Jail about 10:15 p.m. Monday.

Police began searching for Crawford after witnesses saw him fire four to six shots into a home at 636 S. Regal where his girlfriend was hiding.

They had had a fight outside, then she ran inside and hid in a bedroom closet, police said.

The woman wasn’t injured but another woman suffered a minor gunshot wound to the leg. Police wouldn’t make public the shooting victim’s name.

Crawford took off with with a couple of other people in a pickup. Neither Crawford nor the girlfriend lives at the house. , DataTimes
