Delaware Student Dies In 13-Story Dorm Fall

Compiled From Wire Services

A University of Delaware student fell 13 floors out his dormitory window to his death, apparently after he had lost his balance when he put his fist through the glass in anger over computer trouble.

Robert Keeper, 19, of Spotswood, N.J., went through the 5-foot double-pane window early Saturday.

Keeper “got up and ran around the room in a pique of anger” and struck the window with his fist, said Tim Brooks, dean of students, citing the account of two students who were in Keeper’s room at the time.
