Education: Bachelor’s degrees in general studies and psychology and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Eastern Washington University.

Finances: Filed Public Disclosure Commission forms, but has not yet reported contributions.

Issues: Special-education children in regular classrooms: Only those disabled children who can keep up with coursework unassisted should be in regular classrooms.

Safe schools: Thinks district is doing a good job making schools safer.

Computers-in-schools tax: Voted against it in 1994 because it wasn’t explained thoroughly. Now says he supports it.

His guiding lights: His Christian beliefs would guide his votes on the school board.
