Market My Way Wins Playfair Feature

Market My Way may have stamped herself as a candidate for next Saturday’s $10,000 added Princes Breeders’ Cup on Wednesday night when she romped to a five-length victory in the $3,500 feature at Playfair Race Course.

Market My Way mowed down four other 3-year-old fillies coming off the stretch turn and went on to her fourth consecutive triumph. Ridden by Vince Graffagnini, Market My Way ran the Playfair Course of about 6-1/2 furlongs in 1:15-4/5. She paid $4 to win.

She was one of six winning favorites on the 10-race program as Playfair opened the second week of the 50-day Spokane horse racing season.

For the first time this season, the track paid a twin trifecta winner. Seven ticket-holders collected $5,245 each for picking the first three finishers in the seventh and eighth races.
