Pianist Scott Cossu To Appear At Inn At The Park

Pianist Scott Cossu, a Windham Hill recording artist, will appear in concert tonight at 8 in the Skyline Ballroom of Cavanaugh’s Inn at the Park.

Cossu combines classical, jazz and ethnic influences in his evocative solo piano music.

Cossu himself calls it “classically influenced world music,” or even “country and Eastern.”

He suffered a serious head injury in a car accident five years ago, but he has successfully continued his career in the past few years.

His albums on Windham Hill include “Still Moments” (1980), “Wind Dance” (1981), “Islands” (1984), “Reunion” (1986), “She Describes Infinity” (1987), “Switchback” (1989), “Retrospective” (1992) and “Stained Glass Memories” (1992).

Tickets are $12 in advance, available through all G&B; Select-a-Seat outlets, or by calling 325-SEAT or (800) 325-SEAT. Tickets will be $15 at the door. Tickets include a glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres.
