Mr. And Mrs. Janke Coeur D’Alene

Dick and Irene Janke, Coeur d’Alene, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with the renewal of their vows, followed by a reception at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Coeur d’Alene.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Jerry and Melba Janke, Moses Lake; Sam and Connie Janke, Sedro Woolley, Wash.; Bill and Kari Janke, Blanchard, Idaho; Janice Johnson, Chehalis, Wash.; Jolene and Dave Fritz, Salmon, Idaho; John Janke, Coeur d’Alene; and Cheryl and Steve Williams, Santee, Calif. Also assisting was their niece, Wendie Janke, Coeur d’Alene.

Married Aug. 12, 1945, in Napa, Calif., the Jankes have 21 grandchildren.
