Six Clerk Candidates To Speak To Democrats

Six candidates for the upcoming Kootenai County Clerk position will speak to the Kootenai County Democrats at noon Friday at the Ironhorse Restaurant.

Candidates include Barbara Chamberlain, Dan English, Linda Payne, Jeanne Batson, Judy Hanna and Joe Stanosch.

A list of three finalists will go from the Democratic Central Committee to the Kootenai County commissioners, who will appoint a clerk to fill the position currently held by Tom Taggart.
