Three Teenagers Admit To Rash Of Burglaries

From Staff And Wire Reports

Three Kingston youths were arrested Monday after the seventh in a chain of household burglaries and one auto burglary.

Jeremy Bumgardner, 19, and two 17-year-old boys admitted responsibility for the thefts when questioned, Shoshone County Deputy Mitch Alexander said.

Bumgardner and one of the juveniles will face seven burglary charges. All three are charged with participating in the car burglary.

Monday’s burglary of a Kingston residence was reported around noon. Officers arrested the three suspects shortly afterwards in town.

The fact that all the burglaries took place in Kingston and the types of goods stolen suggested the crimes were committed by youths.

“They went for things like stereo equipment, money, food, some alcohol,” Alexander said.

The value of the stolen property has not yet been determined, although much of it has been recovered, he said. , DataTimes
