Construction Starts On Apartment Complex

From Staff Reports

Magnuson Properties has broken ground this week for a 150-unit apartment complex called ParkPlace.

The new apartments will spread over 11.5 acres at Ramsey Road just south of Kathleen Avenue, said Jim Magnuson, one of the partners of Magnuson Properties.

ParkPlace’s 150 units will be located in 30 buildings across the acreage. The complex will have a clubhouse with a swimming pool, gym and computer rooms, he said.

“It will have a real campus feel to it,” he said.

ParkPlace will feature 20 one-bedroom units, 20 two-bedroom units with one bathroom, 78 two-bedroom and two-bathroom units and 32 three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments.

Magnuson has not yet determined the rental rates for the complex. “They’ll be market rates for these apartments, which are going to be first class.”

The apartments should be ready for occupancy by late May. , DataTimes
