Unbeaten Lakeland Beats Priest River
The Lakeland Hawks remained unbeaten Friday, knocking off host Priest River 14-7 in an Intermountain League football game.
Priest River’s Adam Lamb ran for 94 yards and scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter with the Spartans trailing 14-0.
Lakeland held Priest River quarterback Jeff Greisemer to 3-of-11 passing for just 28 yards.

Brian St. Peter rushed for 80 yards on 14 carries and scored a touchdown to lead the Miners past the Vikings.
Wallace’s Robert Chavez had a 48-yard interception return to set up the first score. The Miners got the winning touchdown on a 72-yard interception return by Nick Rounds.

Buck Allen ran two punts back for 105 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Knights (5-1) past the visiting Warriors (0-6).
The game ended with 9:08 left in the third quarter on the “mercy rule” in eight-man football that ends the game after a team has gone up by 42 points. Sam Lozeau of Lakeside had two touchdowns on the game including a 75-yard kick return.
