Mexican Actress Succumbs At Age 90

Compiled From Wire Services

Delia Magana, who made 14 films in the United States and about 240 in her native Mexico, died Sunday at age 90, the Notimex news agency said.

Magana’s first films in both countries were silent movies. She later appeared with such stars as Pedro Infante and Mario Moreno, who went by the screen name of Cantinflas. Her last appearances were in Mexican television series.

Her name and hand print are preserved in the sidewalk outside Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
