Driver Killed After His Truck Rolls Over

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Coulee City, Wash., man died after wrecking his truck in Grant County. James Lee Pitts Jr., 38, was killed Saturday night when he rolled his 1990 Ford 3/4-ton truck on Pinto Ridge Road, south of Coulee City, the Grant County Sheriff’s Department said.

Pitts reportedly lost control of the truck about 9:20 p.m. and it went into a ditch and rolled onto its top.

Emergency crews used the jaws of life to cut Pitts, who was pronounced dead at the scene, from the wreckage. He was wearing his seat belt.

No one else was in the truck.
