Body Found In Reservoir Is Missing Teen

A body found in a Northern California reservoir Thursday was tentatively identified as a teenage girl missing since last month.

Raina Bo Shirley, 14, disappeared March 13 after she and a 13-year-old friend accepted a ride with a 28-year-old suspected drug dealer and his 13-year-old nephew whom they knew, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Department said.

The missing girl’s friend was found dazed, stumbling down a street. She told authorities she had been drugged, raped and then released. The girl didn’t remember much about her ordeal and didn’t know what happened to Raina.

The nephew was arrested but authorities have not been able to find Arnoldo Jorge Manzo who may be hiding in Mexico, officials said.
