Family Of Injured Bicyclist Sought

Spokane Police are looking for friends or family of a man who suffered a critical head injury Monday while riding his bicycle.

Raymond Green, 57, a transient, was weaving in and out of traffic while heading west on his pink bicycle in the 2600 block of East Sprague about 1:15 p.m., the Spokane Police Department said.

At one point, he swerved into the center lane and into the side of a car traveling west. After striking the car, Green, who was not wearing a helmet, fell to the pavement and suffered a critical head injury, according to police.

Police said he was intoxicated.

Authorities are seeking information about Green, particularly from relatives or friends.
