Rangers Create Logjam At Top With Win Over Philadelphia

Pat Verbeek scored a tie-breaking power-play goal in the third period, and the New York Rangers rallied to beat the visiting Philadelphia Flyers 3-1 Friday night to tighten the Eastern Conference race at the top.

The Rangers moved within two points of Pittsburgh and one of the Flyers.
