Body Found May Be Coffee Stand Owner’s

From Staff And Wire Reports

A body found Sunday under a state Highway 410 bridge near here may be that of a missing espresso stand owner from suburban Seattle, King County police said.

The body was spotted near Scatter Creek, east of Enumclaw, by a couple of bicyclists, police spokesman Jerrell Wills said.

Detectives from the Tukwila Police Department and King County police determined the body may be that of Andrew Cook, 22, of Renton, Wash., Wills said.

An autopsy is scheduled today.

Cook disappeared Friday from his Tukwila espresso stand, and investigators feared he had been abducted during a robbery.

A couple of hours after he had been reported missing, Cook’s car was found on fire behind a store in nearby Renton.

Wills said it couldn’t immediately be determined how the man found under the bridge had died. It appeared he had been pushed and fell 125 feet to the ground, Wills said.
