Bail Set For Shooting Suspect

From Staff And Wire Reports

Bail was set at $1 million Monday for a Birch Bay man arrested in a series of apparently random shootings, including one on Interstate 5 that paralyzed a man.

Carl Gene Roush, 25, was held at the county jail for investigation of three counts of first-degree assault, the Whatcom County prosecutor’s office said.

Roush is under investigation in at least five shootings, including one in February on I-5 that paralyzed Gordon Bostock, 44, of Kent.
