Sabres Goalie Done

Compiled From Wire Services

Buffalo Sabres goalie Dominik Hasek suffered a sprained knee during the weekend and will miss the final three games of the NHL season.

Tests taken revealed Hasek sustained damage to his medial collateral ligament, although the ligament was not torn. No surgery is required, and Hasek is expected to recover in four to six weeks.

When the Winnipeg Jets move to Phoenix after this season, they will become the Coyotes and will take the ice in uniforms of dark green, brick, purple, sand and black. BG Hockey Ventures unveiled the new colors and logo - an upright coyote wearing an extra-long mask styled to resemble a menacing Hopi kachina figure from northern Arizona - at the America West Arena.

The Washington Capitals learned defensemen Calle Johansson will be out two to four weeks with a badly sprained wrist.
