Bosnia Seeks Large Donations To Rebuild

Compiled From Wire Services

Bosnian President Alija Izetbegovic appealed especially to Islamic countries to provide money and arms once the NATO-led peace force leaves.

Carl Bildt, in charge of implementing civilian aspects of the Bosnian peace agreement, said expected pledges have fallen short of the $1.2 billion needed for urgent projects in Bosnia this year.
