Christine Brennan of the Washington Post has been barred from covering events by the U.S. Figure Skating Association because of allegedly biased reporting.

USFSA president Morry Stillwell told Post sports editor George Solomon that Brennan “will no longer be afforded the media services normally offered to members of the media at USFSA events.”

The USFSA apparently is upset about a book on figure skating written by Brennan. In “Inside Edge,” she wrote about homosexuality in the sport, as well as overbearing parents and the Nancy Kerrigan-Tonya Harding saga that catapulted the sport onto the front pages.
