Spokane Public Works Committee

Monday, 1:30 p.m., fifth-floor conference room

The committee plans to discuss impact fees.

Spokane City Council

Monday, 3 p.m., citizens briefing, lower-level conference room;

3:30 p.m., council briefing

6 p.m. public forum

6:30 p.m. council meeting

The council plans to decide whether to levy impact fees on developers. Council members also will hear from residents who want the public forum aired on City Cable 5.

Thursday, 3:30 p.m., council study session, fifth-floor conference room The council plans to talk about the city’s charter and council salaries, as well as possible changes to the form of government.

Spokane City Plan Commission

Wednesday, 1:30 p.m., regular meeting, second-floor conference room

The commission plans to discuss the Centennial Trail route along the south side of the Spokane River west of Latah Creek. Members also will discuss revising the city’s land-use code.

All the above meetings take place at City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

Spokane County Commission

Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., briefing with chief administrative officer;

11 a.m., meeting with Nancy Sattin, animal control director, over pet licensing door to door;

1:30 p.m., regular meeting, consent items, lower level of Public Works Building;

5 p.m., regular meeting, non-consent items

Thursday, 9:30 a.m., Water Quality Advisory Committee;

11 a.m., meeting with Christine Barada, community development director, about mental health position;

1:30 p.m., ULID continued hearing, U-911 (North Sullivan);

2:30 p.m., ULID preliminary hearing, U-969 (Piper Glen);

Medical Lake School Board

Tuesday, 7 p.m., district office, 116 W. Third, Medical Lake.

Spokane School Board

Wednesday, 11 a.m., district office, 200 N. Bernard, work session on variance requests from Shadle Park and Rogers.

Noon, regular session. The board will hear recommendations from a task force studying gifted education.

Cheney School Board

Wednesday, 7 p.m., Salnave Elementary, 1015 Salnave Road, Cheney. The board will hear reports on enrollment, staff and revenue.
