Ault Quits Again

Nevada football coach Chris Ault is stepping down - again - to devote full time to his job as athletic director.

The announcement marked the second time in three years Ault has quit as coach. He sat out the 1993 season, then returned in 1994 after his chosen successor, Jeff Horton, defected to UNLV.

Ault is 163-63-1 in 19 seasons with nine postseason appearances and seven conference titles.
