First Lady Warns Of Coming Attack Campaign

More than 1,000 Democratic women rallied in defense of Hillary Rodham Clinton on Friday and heard her predict that Republicans would soon be launching “a relentless attack” of negative advertising and misinformation in their effort to defeat her husband.

“Get prepared for it and don’t be surprised by it,” the first lady told a gathering of supporters of Emily’s List, an organization that raises money for female Democratic candidates who support abortion rights.

“When you’ve got no vision of how to make the world a better place for yourself or your children, then you go negative. So we’ll see a lot of that.”
