Veterans Give Charles A Princely Welcome

Ignoring a few anti-monarchy demonstrators outside, Prince Charles received a warm welcome at an armory Saturday from veterans and troops of the Royal Regiment of Canada.

“I think he’s doing a damn good job,” said Charles Edwards, 75.

Charles - nearing the end of his one-week solo tour of Canada - appeared at ease with the veterans, inquired about their health or the medals adorning their chests.
