Fergie’s Not Exactly A Model Of Cover Quality

The idea was simple - pick up a few extra (thousands of) dollars by doing a little modeling.

And when you already make headlines whenever you appear in public, as the Duchess of York does, what’s the problem?

Simply this: Being a model may not take a degree in rocket science, but it does require a certain amount of physical charm. And that, fashion experts say, is what the ex-wife of Brit-royal Prince Andrew cobspicuously lacks.

After the duchess posed for the British version of Vogue magazine, British fashion commentator Marcia Brackett said she suffered from “a real bad hair day! She looks like she woke up with a hangover!”

Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman was more diplomatic.

“The Duchess’ picture just wasn’t the best image,” she said.

So, Bill Cosby’s didn’t want to address the Inaugural World Convention of the Family Federation for World Peace - a group associated with the Rev. Sun Myung Moon that paid Cosby $150,000 (for 16 minutes of work). Here, though, is a list of addressees who did not complain: former President Gerald Ford, former British Prime Minister Edward Heath, evangelist Robert Schuller, Maureen Reagan, former Costa Rican President Oscar Arias and Jack Kemp.

So who is the typical Urban Outfitters customer? “We call them the upscale homeless,” clothes-maker Glen Senk told Bazaar. “They are 18 to 25 - cool kids whose main goal is to meet other cool kids.”
