Mutual Aid Flood Plan Advocated

State and local disaster officials in North Idaho say they want to be better prepared for the next flood by adopting a regional mutual aid agreement sometime before spring.

Ten North Idaho counties, including Latah, are drafting an agreement which would allow counties to share personnel to help each other out in the event of a flood.
