White Teens Held In Fire At Black Church

Two white teens were arrested and charged with arson Sunday afternoon in the burning of a predominantly black church in this rural community.

Dennis Martin Moody Jr. and Neil Talbot, both 17, are accused of burning the wood-framed Springhill AME church to the ground Thursday morning, state Law Enforcement Division spokesman Hugh Munn said.

Munn said authorities had not determined a motive for the burning.
