Kimberly Anne Croffoot Receives Master’s Degree

Kimberly Anne Croffoot, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Croffoot of Hayden, Idaho, recently received a master’s degree in public affairs from Princeton University.

Croffoot. a 1985 Coeur d’Alene High School graduate, attended Hunter College in New York City, graduating in 1993, and was awarded a two-year scholarship to Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School, where she studied public affairs and political science.

Loretta Murphy a recent graduate of Coeur d’Alene High school, has been accepted to attend Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont.

Murphy, daughter of Fred and Susan Murphy, will participate in the general studies program at RMC. She was a member of the Coeur d’Alene High School Drama Club, Honor Roll, Youth Club, and volleyball and tennis teams, was a cheerleader and was listed in Who’s Who Among American High School Students.

Charles K. Ford, who is assigned to the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) in Arlington, Va., with duty in Ottawa, Canada, as DISA’s liaison officer with the Candian Forces, was recently promoted to lieutenant colonel in the Army.

Ford, a 1974 Coeur d’Alene High School graduate and son of Betty Ford of Coeur d’Alene, and Bud and June Ford of Hayden Lake, is being transferred during this summer to U.S. Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, to serve on staff in J6 Current Operation Division. He was also awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for exceptional services as exchange/ liaison officer with the Canadian Forces upon completion of his tour in Canada.
