Prairie, Sandpoint Finish With Losses

The Prairie Cardinals and Sandpoint Lakers saw their seasons end Monday in consolation play at the Idaho State AA American Legion tournament at Caldwell.

Prairie fell 4-1 to nemesis Lewis-Clark while Sandpoint was clobbered 14-2 by Twin Falls in a run-rule shortened game.

Neither Prairie (38-20) nor Sandpoint (20-25) reported their scores during the state tournament, which began Saturday.
