Fischer-Watt Output Reaches Record High

Fischer-Watt Gold Co. Inc. reported record gold production at its Colombian operation for the second quarter.

The El Limon gold mine reported a new high of 3,115 ounces for the second three months of the year. For the first half of the year, the mine produced 5,735 ounces of gold.

Chairman and Chief Executive George Beattie said the improved production came from a program to control the grade of ore at the mine. Beattie expects further improvements in production as the mine comes into new ore.

Fischer-Watt owns the El Limon mine in Columbia and has other properties in development in the region. It also owns land in Nevada. , DataTimes
