Golf Association Honors Hayden Lake’s Dan Hill

Dan Hill, Hayden Lake, was recently named the 1996 PGA Merchandiser of the Year for private golf facilities by the Pacific Northwest Section of the Professional Golfers Association of America.

Hill, a 10-year association member, was chosen due to his work in making the Hayden Lake Country Club a success in standing out and offering a large variety of goods.

Benjamin Craig, a sophomore at Post Falls high School, recently attended a writing and speech conference at the University of Idaho by invitation of the Educational Talent Search (ETS) Program.

Craig, a member of the ETS since seventh grade, placed first overall in the writing competition, which entailed a one-hour response to the question: Should the Internet be censored for people under 18 years of age?
