Accident Kills Man; Woman Missing
A one-car rollover Tuesday in Pend Oreille County killed one man and sent rescue workers searching for a woman reportedly injured in the accident.
Few details were available about the Tuesday evening accident that killed a 41-year-old man, the Pend Oreille County Sheriff’s Department said.
A caller reported that a woman also was injured in the accident just north of Pend Oreille Park on U.S. Highway 2.
Searchers combed the area but couldn’t find the woman. The man’s identity wasn’t released late Tuesday.
