Spokane Woman Dies In Minnesota Crash

Two people were killed and two others were badly injured Sunday in a head-on crash.

The State Patrol identified the dead as the drivers, Susan Marie Walton, 45, of Rochester, Minn., and Alycia Lee Stevens, 17, of Spokane.

Brent Nelson, 23, of Spokane was in critical condition, and Stephanie Walton, 17, of Rochester was in serious condition, according to a nursing supervisor Sunday night at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

The crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on Highway 7 a mile east of Hutchinson. A pickup driven by Stevens crossed the center line and struck the car head on, the State Patrol said.
