Knock About In Updated Pendleton Quality Fashions

Shanna Southern Peterson Special To Choices

Pendleton - for years a name synonymous with beautiful women’s suits. When you bought a Pendleton wool suit you knew you were investing in a garment you would still be wearing 10 years into the future. Its high quality workmanship and classic styling made it a good wardrobe investment.

Yet, many young women were no longer looking to Pendleton for their business attire. Quite frankly, it was getting a bit boring. Sure, it was still beautiful and classic, just not too contemporary.

Well, watch out. Pendleton has come out with a new line called “Knockabouts” that will knock your woolen socks off.

A more contemporary Knockabouts line is constructed with the same craftsmanship and luxurious fabrics found in Pendleton’s traditional lines, but it’s been updated to fit a younger woman’s lifestyle.

Many women find themselves running from executive meetings to their children’s baseball games. They need clothing that makes the transition from the boardroom to the bleachers. The Knockabouts line does exactly that.

From the retro-styled plaid belted jacket to the boiled wool vest, this line is designed for versatility, style and comfort. For the holidays there’s a bright red lamb’s wool cardigan with detachable black velvet collar and cuffs to complement a short black and red pleated skirt. Simply stunning.

Our favorite combination from this group is called “Let It Snow.” The navy raglan coat worn with the snowflake knit vest, ecru snowflake shirt, and slim navy pants features comfort and class all in one outfit that will remain stylish for years.

Congratulations, Pendleton. You have successfully updated your classic line with a wonderful new look.

You can check out Knockabouts, as well as the traditional Pendleton lines, at Harvey’s in the Crescent Court in downtown Spokane.
