Little League Semis Set

Chris Sison went 4 for 4 with a home run and Panama City, Fla., eliminated Moorpark, Calif., with a 10-2 victory in the Little League World Series.

Panama City will play Cranston, R.I., today in the U.S. semifinals. Cranston, which lost to Marshalltown, Iowa, 6-1, advanced because Moorpark gave up more runs during the first three games.

Taiwan’s 21-2 rout of Canada set up the international semifinal today against the Dominican Republic, which beat Saudi Arabia 13-0 earlier in the day.

The semifinal winners play Saturday for the championship.
